The mcresing popularity of the man who declared that "liberty had received its death blow when Lee surrendered," is made apparent by the election returns. Saddles bridles, harness, halters, and all articles generally kept in a first class shop, at the sign of the red collar, above E. Grahams boot and shoe store. All work warranted by Shrom & Co. - If the result of the late election should give any of our friends the cramp we would recommend them to get a bottle of Green's Vegetable Pain Killer" as it is a certain cure for such things—no mistake.

Lost or Stolen.—The forty-five Republicans whom "the member elect" from Centre, asserted in the Watchman, had left the Republican party and joined the Cops. Not having appeared at the polls of this district, on Tuesday last,, with Democratic ammunition, and as "the member" and the ring suspect that foul play has been resorted to, offer a handsome reward for any ¦information concerning them.
