I l"" Mr. John Edwards has, certainly learned well the lesson contained In tho little rhyme "If j ou don't at first succeed, try, try again." After the falluio of two attempts to secure a license to conduct a billiard pallor over his saloon, he petitioned again, and Wednesday night the city council granted his request. During the early summer, Mr. Edwards asked the council for this privilege, and his peti tion was granted, but mayor Hansen vetoed the action of the council.
