Wc liavc been careful in making in quiries about the- condition of the wheat crop in this scctiou of the State ami arc prepared to make a reliable report. The acreage in Uutler county is double that of laet year, there being over 35,000 acres of fall wheat in the ground in tho county. The most of it was put in early, with a drill, the ground being in fine condition, it is at this tiino well rooted and is in belter condition now than last j car's crop was at this season of the year. The roots have struck deep into the ground. The surface is thoroughly matted over and we can conceive Jf no accident that will proven tan exten sive wheat harvest in this count v next summer.
