The official report of the New Orleans Board f Health on 'the 19th, gives the number of deaths from yellow fever for the preceding 24 hours at C2 ; new cases reported, 129 ; total number of deaths to same date, 355; total number of cases reported, 1,219. The Howard Associa tion are furnishing physicians and nurses to the destitute, and have also sent assistance to PortEada and Gre Tiada. They have published an appeal ior contributions, stating that they have not a dollar in their treasury. At Memphis, on the 19th, there were 15 new cases of yellow fever re ported for the preceding 24 hours, with 12 deaths. The disease had not extend ed below Jefferson Street, and the au thorities were sanguine that it could be confined within its present limits. Deathtvfrom yellow fever in New Or leans for the 2 i hours ending at. noon on the 26 th, 44; new cases reported, 125; total number of cases to same date, 2,151; total number of deaths, 653. Among the victims are several old citizens who had passed through every previous epidemic unscathed; also, a number of negroes. Yellow fever in a virulent form has made its appearance in Plaquemines and Iberville Parishes, and in-other localities throughout the otate. The Howard Association of New Orleans, notwithstanding the great local demands upon them, continued to furnish' physicians and nurses for'Gren ada and other places that appealed to them for aid.
