Cricket. : o LiANG L.A.\G VICTORIOUS. Ideal weather favored the challenge match between the newly-formed cricket clubs, .Lang Lang and Koo- j weerup, last Saturday afternoon, J the game being played on the Koo - weerup Reserve. The wicket was fair, but owing to th^ long grass on the reserve scoring was greatly ham pered. .J. Preston, captain for Kooweerup, won the toss and sent Lang Lang in to bat. S. Eason act ed as Lang Lang's skipper, pAid Mes srs T. Burhop and .J. Gray officiated as umpires. Some good form was shown, especially by the bowlers. In Lang Lang's lirst innings A. Grant ley secured live wickets for twelve runs, including the coveted "hat trick," Messrs E. Wiseman and A. | Glasscock were worthy of their j places in Lang Lang's contingent. | Kooweerup went in to the bowling I of K. Wiseman and S.
