Obituary. [Newspaper Article] — Argyle Liberal and District Recorder — 24 November 1903

Obituary. It is our painful duty to announce the death of Mrs. W. S. Gunn, which   sad event took place at her residence, " Lynden," Crookwell, at 1. p.m. on Sunday last, at the ripe age of 72 years. Deceased contracted a cold about a fortnight ago, but did not take to her bed, thinking it would pass off. On Thursday last, however, serious symptoms set in, and Dr. Pawlett was called in. The doctor found Mrs.   Gunn to be dangerously ill,, and ad- vised that the services of Nurse Ryan be obtained. Notwithstanding that all that medical aid and skilled nursing could do, the deceased gradually sank   and passed peacefully away at the time above slated. The cause of death was pneumonia. Deceased was the relict   of the late Mr. W. S. Guun, J.P., who for a number of years carried out the duties of C.P.S at Crookwell. Two sons and one daughter are left to   mourn their loss, the sons being Mr. Walter Gunn, Goulburn, and Mr. S...
