• TYNONG. An old resident of Tyuonj; named Jamea Smith was found lying dead in the yard near hia house ou Thursday morning by aome children wbo wore on their way to school. Hia face was turned towards the ground, as though deceased had fallen heavily, and bis noso was slightly covered in the earth. Constable Anstee was sent for and ho had tho dead body removed to the house. On Friday Dr. Withington conduoted a post mortem examination on the body, and found that deceased died from heart failure and suffocation. On Saturday Mr. A. H. a'Beckott, J.P. hold an inquiry into the causo of death and a verdict in accordance with the medical cvidouco was roturucd. The romains of deceased woro buried iu the Bunyip comotery on Saturday afternoon last, tho funeral arrange ments being carried out by Mr. \V. Browno, of Bunyip.
