Upon official count votes the late election, Millhimo, Democratic candidate for Clerk, liad a majority of eighteen over TJrolil, Republican candidate for the fame office- The majority was so small that many of our Republicans were of the opinion that, in Tiew of the fact that there were many mixed tickets circulated and Toted, errors in count,!n favor of Mill time, and against Erohl, sufficient to change the result, might have been made. It was supposed that proba bly, as the custom was to count "by fives" that the mixed tickets con taining the name of Brohl, instead of Millhime, might have been counted for the latter.
