Heninger, 84, musician and educator While at Point Loma, he assisted Robert Shaw, the director of the San Diego Symphony, in training the choir. Several of his compositions were performed in New York City and by the San Diego Symphony as well as other vocal and instrumental groups in the San Diego area. Along with fellow composer David McNair, Mr. Heninger created the San Diego Composers Forum. The forum professor, Ingolf Dahl.
