At the Naraniera Quarter Ses sions oa l'bur-day last, before Judge Bevan and a jury, Frederick William Hawker was churned that on Marcli 10, at Tociumval. being postmaster at Tocum<val, lie did convert to his own private use the sum of £68/8/2, the property of His Maji-sty the King. Mr Quirk appeared for the ac cused, and Mr Mason (Crown Pio secutor) inlroduced the case to the jury. The evidence for Ihe prosecution was submitted by Fiedeiick Beck (postal inspector). S-jr^t. Wedding Bells. A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated ou the 22nd of Apt 11, at St. Michael and St. John's Chuich, Horsham, by the Rev. i/'alher Howell, when Mr William Jolley. of Tocumwal, second son of Jlr lii. Jolley,-of Tocumwal, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony, to Miss Nauo Hart, second daughter of Mr Thomas Hart, of Horsham. The bride was given away by her father, and attended by her sister, Miss Mary Hart, and Mr Thomas Landrigan attended as best man. Miss A. Meredith, friend of the bride, played the Wedding March, and the altars were|nicely decorated by the girl friends of the bride. The happy couple left, with showers of confetti and good wishes,Jby the midday train for Ballaiat, where the houeymoon was spent.
