Doan's Reports Investigated. No return of illneea for fifteen years. We are answering a Very important question to-day, viz., "Do the people who say they have been cured by Doan's Backache Kidney Pills stay cured V A medicine which cures merely for a day or a week is worthless ; it is only a tonic or a purgative. But a medicine which drives the illneea away so that it stays away, that medicine does all medicine can do. We have been verifying our earlier published cases and we are pleased to say that the result of our investigation has been meat gratifying. The cures by Doan's Backache kidney Pills are per manent oures. , Here's a proof of this statement: — Mrs Kelvy, Goulbourn Road, Echuca East, aays "I was subject to kidney derangement for many years, and this caused me a good deal of suffering. The Origin of the Clydsdale. [Newspaper Article] — Nathalia Herald and Picola, Narioka, Kotupna and Moira Advertiser — 12 May 1914

The- Origin of the Clydsdale; The question as to how the Clydes dalevbreed of horses first originated being frequently asked, the compiler of the "Clydesdale Stud Book" in Scotland turnishes and authorities reply. "The name" he states, "is derived frotn the fact that the farmers in the upper valley of the Clyde were the first to develop the breed, which, it is recorded, began with a horse named Glancer, who was foaled in 1810, and dsecended on his dam's side from a Flemish horse bought in England by a Mr Pateison; near Lanark, between 1715 and 1720. He was a horse of great quality and grand action, trotting like a hackney. At the dispersion of the Merryton stud on the ...
