AQUATICS. ROYAL SYDKEY YACHT SQUADRON'. Accident to the Waitangi. ('By Backstay.') The first-class race in connection with this, sqnadron started on Saturday. Tho Waitangi carrying away hor mast soon after passing South Rofff, Mr. 'Williams, vory sportsman like, decided not to go over the courso by himself, therefore tho race will be resailed on a future date. As Mr. Williams had nothing to do but make things snug and continue the race to get the prize, he and his crew well de served the cheers given them, first by tho crow of the Wiutangi, and afterwards by thoso on tho steamer. i The steamer Genesta followed in charge of J Mr. Alfred Fairfax, with a much larger com plement of passengers than last time. She rendered very valuable assistance to the Waitangi by towing her home to the moor ings, for which I am sure Sir.
