Coal Companies. Among the numerous evils of incorporated Coal Companies,' that of absenteeism may be mentioned as not tbe least. The stockholders of such companies do not reside among us—no! for the most part not even within the. limits of the state! The dividends of such companies go into the pockets of individuals residing in Delaware, New York, &c.
