The bill granting to the Madison and Indianapolis Railroad Company the use of the road for eight years, on condition that the Company will finish the road Ao Indianapolis id three years, passed both Branches of the Legislature and is now a law. This bill allows the Company the privilege of opening books for stock in the easteni cities; for the purpose of obtaining a subscription sufficient to complete the road ; of, the Company have the privilege bf bof rowing money at a rate of interest, not exceeding seven per cent.
