The bill granting to the Madison and Indianapolis Railroad Company the use of the road for eight years, on condition that the Company will finish the road Ao Indianapolis id three years, passed both Branches of the Legislature and is now a law. This bill al lows the Company the privilege of opening books for stock in the easteni cities; for the purpose of obtain ing a subscription sufficient to complete the road ; of, the Company have the privilege bf bof rowing money at a rate of interest, not exceeding seven per cent. The Company are to have the full benefit of the road, by paying the State tvhat she now receives, for eight years ; and should the Mad be completed to this city, in two years, as is expected, the entire profits of the road fof the nxt fcijht years, over and above keeping it in repair; if öö unforeseen accidents occur, will go far to complete the unf...
