Fisher, several mouths previous to his death, buried a jar in the cellar containing the orders, and did not confide the secret of his buried treasure to any one save his brother, James Fisher. The day after the funeral Mr. Fisher weutto the home of his brother and told his sister-in-law of the county orders buried in the cellar, and they wcut together to look for them. A large, glowing hot meteor passed over this town | shortly aftor 10 o'clock yesterday morning, and from tho comparative slowness of its motion ami its downward tendency it had clearly lost most of tho force which was propeling it. Persons abroad were alarmed, thinking it about to fall upon them, for it wan scarcely a hundred yards above tho steeples of the churches.
