Truth. [Newspaper Article] — The Shoalhaven News and South Coast Districts Advertiser — 19 September 1891

Troth. Truth, greatest of the virtues and rarest, has so long been a stranger to ordinary commercial business, that when a perfectly conscientious man maintains eyeu a well known foot, that faot assumes an additional importance. The truth that should be sacred is twisted, and turned, and mutilated, and in many oases utterly suppressed, to Buit the commercial ends of enterprising unscrupulous peopls. There are many of these who willun blushingly steal faots relating to the operations of others, of whioh they are only the fraudulent »nd valueless repre sentation. Looking at the fact of truth's scarcity in the proper light, we must of a necessity value it the mor» beeause of its rarity. And therefore, the- following latter from Father Faby, of the Sydney (N.S.W.) Presbytery, speaks volumes for the effioacy of Warner'i Safe Cure. Here is tie nvwend father's letter to H, H. Warner and Co. ' Sydney, N.S.W. I have beard Warner's Safe Cure spokes, of in the highest terms by men whose solo o...

Church of England Harvest Festival. [Newspaper Article] — The Shoalhaven News and South Coast Districts Advertiser — 19 September 1891

Cliurcli of England Harvest Festival The annual harvest festival in con nection with the Church of England in this district was held in Nowra on Wednesday last, with successful re Bults, despite the inclemency of the weather. In the afternoon at 3 o'clock, a children's service was held in the school-church, the pupils of the sabbath schools being addressed by the Rev. E. A. Colvin, Incumbent of St. PhilliDB's. Anburn near Svdnev. The church was beautifully decorated, the work entailed and the striking effect produced by a display of the fruits of the season, evergreens, flowers &a, with various, mottoes on the walla and orer tho Communion rails, being on the most extensive and elaborate scale yet attempted in the pariah. A large number of ladies and gentlemen assisted in these decorations. It would be invidious to name one above an other as specially deserving of com mendation.
