SERIOUS ILLNESS. The many friends of Mr. G. Piggott, sen., will be sorry to hear that gentleman is seri ously ill at Kempsey, and latest information stated that he was sinking slowly. Messrs. S. J. and R. Piggott left Bellingcn for Kemp sey at 10 p.m. on Monday, and Mr. B. l'iggott of Coram ba, passed through this township on Wednesday night. Since the above was in type, we regret to state that word has been received of Mr. Piggott's death.

A correspondent writes, — The residents of Woogoolga can again be congratulated upon the success which attended the late concert organised and arranged by that most indefatigable of church workers. Mrs. A. E. Treadwell, on behalf of the Church of Eng-   land building fund.
