A heavy supply of varied produce was sub mitted before a moderate attendance ot buyers, but competition was devoid of acti vity, 31 truck-loads being neglected. Chaff moved off briskly and prices showed an ad vance of 5 j per toil ; choice quality made 4/U to 4 /O, prime 3/9 to 4/1, good 3/5 to 3/8, me dium 2/0 to 3/ per cwt. The. market was oversupplied with lucerne hay and sellers had to be content with a reduction of Hi/ per toll. Prime hay in small hales made 3/3 to 3/0 ; good 2/7 to 3/2 ; inferior 2/ to 2/3 ; prime large bales 3/3; medium 2/5. Second quality milling wheat sold at 3/10 ; prime Algerian oats 2/3. Prime dry yellow maize made 2/8. live straw and turnips were un saleable. Pumi-kins for cattle feed sold at -33/ and 30/ per ton.
