' ' A rope wnsjrun across tbe street, apd two flags, each ten feet by six, were suspended from itwitn tnree teet , a Danner, square, bearing the likeness of a raccoon, between them. ' After "loil" ' speeches by J. Hoffman and J. G. Seltzer, Eaqs., and Capt.\E. H. Ranch, the coon was left, alone in his glory; but, portentious omen I this morning the chopfallen Rftda. discovered that the wind had thrown the banner over the rope, so that the unfortunate coon hung head, downwards!
