Washington , March 10 . —Soon after the senate met Tuesday Senator Cul-, lorn , chairman of the committee on iijreign relations , referred to the action of the committee in passing a resolution calling- on the secretary of State for the copy in Spanish of the Pan-American canal treaty . EXPERIENCE THEY NEED . [Newspaper Article] — Urbana Daily Courier — 12 March 1903

EXPERIENCE THEY NEED . There Is Always an Element of Chance . Grain Dealer Expects Ultimate Result of Farmers Movement Will Aid Grain Dealers . I am glad , said a grain dealer of many years experience in Champaign county , that the farmers are going into the business of buying grain . I sincerely hope that they will also go into other branches of business . I do not say this in any spirit of spite , but 1 believe that is the only way for them to appreciate the diillculties which grain dealers have to contend with . Of course we may sit down and tell them about it , but they do not believe us . At the present time , the farmers think they are being robbed on their corn . If they were in the business , they would have a different idea . With a big house full of corn and no cars in which to ship it , and the prospect of that grain getting hot and being almost worthless , they would be facing the loss of a good many dolars . The -May option is causing some trouble . Its up , and there i...
