Qhtfltddtywtr. CAMPBELL, PHEW & CO.] EDITORS AND PIIOPRIKTORS. ' j TUimi>AY MOB.MXti, JAN. 25. The re-actionists are already at work . in this State, as we said tome weeks, ago they would be sooner or later. In Hampshire county a few days ago a meeting was held to Oafce steps to qot back again into the State of Virginia.? The meeting waft composed of those who for convenience and cover, call them selves "democrats"?"conservatives," etc., but who were in reality returned rebels, and their sympathisers, aiders and backers at home. They deal in a great deal of specious talk about there never having been a full 'vote in that county on the proposition of separation from the old State, and proceed toshow that the will of the majority should have been consulted. In other words having lost the game owing to their treason and rebellion, they propose a new deal. These foolish fellows imag ine that they are the people whom It is desirable to consult abont the now State question. Tn thei...
