Howard and Scott report :-Dandenong Market, Tuesday, 18th inst.: Dairy cattle : Another heavy supply forwarded with very little alteration in prices, really good cows meeting with fair competition and selling up to £12. A large number of springers yarded, principally inferior to mnedium quality; prices samne as late quotations. Only a medium supply of dry cows and young stock, which were dull of sale at Iate rates. Pigs: An improvement in prices must be lquoted for all descriptions. Very few naconers ib, which sold up to as. ; fair supplyof porkers, best making 30s. to 33s.: stores, bhest to 18s., mediiumn from 12s. tel.; suckers from 7s, tid. to 12s. (id. Calves: A good supply, whuch; cold at a slight advanc on late rates..
