Myra Vale.   On St. Patrick's Day (in tbe noight toime, av coorse) a very enjoyable social in aid of the local tennis club was held in the Carrington Hall. The hall, thanks to the the energy and taste of the ladies committee, assisted by Messrs. Randall and J. Bresnahan presented a gay appearance; the floor was almost fit for skating, and the music was excellent. At nine o'clock the small attendance began to feel cold, but an hour later all signs of a frost had disappeared, adn the hall was filled with joyous and agreeable company. Mr. E. Bresnahan was an attentive and efficient M.C., and, as was remarked at tho time, "kept things humming." The last dance was called about three o'clock. The   music was gratuitously supplied by Mrs. Bennett, Misses Bresnahan, Swan and Greenhalgh, Messrs. P. Bresnahan, Menzies and Bell. Socially the gathering was the greatest success achieved here for many months, and the tennis club benefits to the amount of about 3 pound, n...
