Diimpncy from- en tering into possession or working a lease pruviously pegged out by Pol look. The 'claim in dispute is a bantc lodu pegged out in Mr. T. ',T. Tar linton's Wangnruka properly (now owned by Mr. James Walsh) some years ago. Mr. Pollock, with whom was associated as ; share holder Mr. IS. Graham, had the lode opened up, 'anil parcels of the ore shipped away to different places in order' to obtain an esti mate of .its commercial value. Danipncy was one of the persons with whom ho hsid been' in corres pondence. The ore is said to be worth £4 10s a ton, and is largely, used as an adulterant in mixing paint. Massacre of Missionaries in China. TERRIBLE ATROCITIES. The special correspondent of the 'Daily Telegraph' supplies a graphic description of the mas sacre of five residents of the Ameri can mission at Lien-chan in China, about 250 miles from Canton.
