iicon meaicme i WO Doses t For One Dollar jrl . . iness to the dictation of anybody who would work for his interest lie sometimes will let political bosses dictate to him , but not an association head . He often gets the worst of it when , if he would enter into combinations with others of his craft , he could do some dictating , too . . Senator Morgan is evidently making a grand stand play , but he evidently does not know just the effect it is likely to have on the public , or ho would break away . It is a grand exhibition of what a single senator can do to help pile up the expenses of government ! , and the people will remember the affair long after it is over . This is one more step in the direction of electing senators by direct vote of the people . NOTICE . Democrats , Prohibitionists and other party organizations that desire to publish calls of meetings , conventions , etc . in the regular routine of political business , are assured that The Courier will be pleased to furnish ...

% ' . . ' THE BILL POSTERS KICK . [Newspaper Article] — Urbana Daily Courier — 11 March 1903

% . . THE BILL POSTERS KICK . 3 The most beautiful example of what can be done by organization is the f - National Bill Posters Association . 3 . , The bill posters have the advertising v business down fine , and a man who Sf ft wants to use bill boards in a general ! £ . way must use association boards . A i bill is before the legislature which , professes to give cities the privilege of fi regulating the bill board nuisance , and % . the association proposes to spend £ __ ! fl 00 , 000 . if necessary , to defeat it . MUSEUM WITHIN A MUSEUM . [Newspaper Article] — Urbana Daily Courier — 11 March 1903

MUSEUM WITHIN A MUSEUM . ¦ . Pennsylvania Inntltutlon Han a Small Unt Valuable Collection of Sixth Century HcIIch . It ts a long reach from the sixth century before Christ to the present day , but the University of Pennsylvania museum has just incorporated a museum of that date which was discovered by Prof . Ilelprecht . The museum is not very big , being entirely contained in a large earthen jar , but the contents are very valuable from an historical standpoint , and show that the ideas of the early curator were very much like those of present curators , reports the Philadelphia Record . Whether the specimens were excavated or purchased is not known , but they undoubtedly represent a collection which must have been made during the time of Belshazzar , since it was found in one of the upper strata at Nippur . The best specimen in the jar is an inscription containing the titles of Sargon the First , who lived about 3 S 00 B . C . There is a black stone votive tablet of UrGur , 2700 B...
