The rote in tho borough stood 50 fur and 3 against tho New Consti tution, while Tioncstn Township tlie whole vote, which consisted of about 30, "Va8 in favor of the New Constitu tion. It is not believed that, through out the county, more than half tho ntire vote was out, owning to the bad roads, and to the fact that nearly 11 believed that tho adoption of tho Jiew constitution was assured. Yc go to press before the morning papers reach us, and consequently are not able to give tho guesses of those pa lmers on the subject. Our opinion is that the new constitution has carried by a considerable majority.' The' Warren Ledger of Inst week has the ful lowing items On Tuesday evening craay man, a Uerman named Lender, was, at the re quest of fiis retatives. who considered him flanperous, committed to the jail in this place, for safe keeping. When he. was taken into the jail, the parties baring him in charge were nkcd if he had anything in his pockets, and they replied that he had not, that he was harmless.'
