OSCURO Mr. and Mrs. B, S. Burns left the first of the week on n camp ing trip. They will visit Burns minini? property. They were accompanied by Paul Gilbert who will brinjc back some ore from Mr. Burns mine. Mis Julia Jones went to Kan sas City last week whore she will attend high school the com ing year. Sho will make her homo with her brother, Percy Jones and wife. Alec Mills moved his family into town last week for the opening of the school term. They arc occupying the Thornton cot tage at the cast end of town. Ed Houscr has obtained em ployment in El Paso and Mrs, Houscr is managing the home stead during his absence. Dan Mayes will attend the Agricultural College this year and Albert Ashford has enrolled ,at tho Carrizozo High School. Judging by the number of auto parties that stop at this place, Oscuro must be on the map. School opened Tuesday with a fairly good attendance.
