THE FEDERAL ELECTORATES.' THERE Was a most representative meet ing of towns people in the School of Arts last night to discuss the question of taking the necessary steps to approach the Com missioners by petition to have Tenterfield, the Richmond, Lismore, Ballina and the Tweed constituted one electorate for the purpose of returning a member to the Federal House of Representatives. The MAYOR (Alderman W. Reid) oc cupied the chair and with him on the platform were the Rev.Dill-Macky   Messrs J. H. Reid, T. M. Walker, I. Whereat, J. H. Roper, and E H Juergens At times the meeting drifted into a num ber of personalities, which were freely bandied about by some of the principal speakers, especially Messrs C. A. Lee, J. H. Reid and H.
