PARLIAMENTARY. [Newspaper Article] — Bunyip — 18 November 1865

PABLIAMENTABY, The arrival of the English mail yesterday, ?with interesting intelligence of various kinds, must .be our apology for being very laconic in our leader. The leading act of our new Ministry (the structure of which we are by no means dissatisfied with) was decidedly uiuuxxuiuii/c. it tutb cvuiu tucy w auum to overlook for the Commissionership of Insolvency a member of the bar, of many years actual experience in that identical Court, and versed in commercial interests and transactions and mercantile law ? We wish Mr. Downer well «tod successful, but we wish the Colony »a well as we think it might have been. The next important public matter since our last has been the report on the «or«JBes us, Being somewhat familiar ^nth Korthern interests. The picture drawn by the Commissioners is depJorable, «nd no doubt acc...

THE WEEKLY 'B1JNYIP.' TO SUBSCBTBEBS, BEADEBS, A3XJ- J&VSBTISSBS. As already intimated, the Bunyip will appear witL the new year as a weekly paper, the first issue of the new series commencing on Saturday, January, 5th, 1866, at the reduced price of THBBErPENCE.
