Death of D. M. Stuart The funeral of Daniel Moser Stuart took place Tuesday, February 21st, 1905 at 2 p. in. with interment at the Branch Cemetery. The young man , only twenty-five , was the son of Postmaster Stuart and a former student of this College , not graduating however. He completed his Junior year in 1901 and accepted ~ a position with the 3. H. Heinz Company at Holland , Michigan. Later he was promoted to the position of superintendent of the factory at Norfolk , Virginia , belonging to the same company, which position he held at the time of his death. He contracted an attack of Ia grippe and pneumonia last Monday a week and died on the following Friday. His sudden demise was a severe shock to his many friends at State College. Team Away on Eastern Trip. On Tuesday afternoon the basketball team left College on the eastern trip , the first game of which was played against Pennsylvania in Philadelphia . Tuesday night. James P. _Greenmari James P. Greenman a member of the Sophomore class died at his home here in State College early Monday morning. Apparently well and in good health , he attended Band rehearsal on Friday afternoon. On Saturday he complained of feeling b ~ dly and took to his bed. Pneumonia developed rap idly and on Monday morning, he breathed his last. He is survived by his parents and one brother and one sister. Deceased was a member of the College Band , stood well in his classes , and was very popular with all his associates. The Sophomore class held a meeting on Monday at noon and B. H. Olmstead , C. 3. Adams , and 3. P. Hand were appointed a committee to draw up resolutions. E. T. Eckert was appointed to accompany the body to Coudersport , Potter county, where it was interred. The executive committee attended the services at the home of the deceased on Monday evening at 7.30 and on Tuesday morning the entire class escorted the body to the train at the Bellefonte Central Statio...

Easter Hop The Senior Class has decided to give an Easter Hop in accordance with the custom of past years. This action was taken at a meeting held Thursday evening, Feb . 16 and President Rainey appointed the following committee to make arrangements for the affair: Kuhn , Chairman; Weaver , Robinson , Hoskins , and Peschko. Later Kuhn resigned and Weaver was appointed Chairman in his stead with Gerber , as the other member of the committtee. The Pharsonians. The Pharsonians gave their annual mid-winter production in the Armory on Saturday evening last. The old saying that " there are just as good fish in the sea as ever were caught " held true here for although some of the old stand bys were missed , the performance this year was just as good if not better than ever before. " Pop " Golden as interlocutor , was better than ever. Saunders , Wailer , and Reznor the end men kept the house in an uproar with their jokes and catchy songs , while the ballads by Saunders , Dawson and Rippel ...
