The fruit crop of San Juan coun ty is as good ami better this year than it has been for many years before, in fact, there is and has been much more than an average full crop throughout the county ex cept in t very few localities where the late frosts of May 20th cut the crop a little short but this however, The shortage in the fruit crop in New York and Missouri which are two of the greatest apple producing states in the Union, insures a good price to fruit growers generally this year and agricultural and fruit papers and those devoted to horti culture and fruit growing indicate that there is only about 6o per cent of an apple crop in New York and S4 percent in Missouri and about Jie same proportion of a crop in many other apple growing sections of the country.
