K pi . . . ? A BI TWO and a half decades ago l>. P. Palmer discovered the principles of Chiropractic. Like many great discoveries. it was accidental. Dr. Palmer was a magnetic healer and one dav be noticed a prominent bump on the spine of ono-of his patients. He asked about it and was told that the place came there suddenly in an accident and that at the same time tInpatient had lost his l>caring. This interested Dr. Palmer and he pushed ??n the bump. After a few times the bump disappeared and the patient was surprised to note that he had regained his hearing. That was the crude beginning of Cliirojuaetie which means "done with tin- 1 lands" and after that Dr. Palmer tried "pushing" 011 the prominent humps in other people's spines and their different ailments began to yield to these adjustments.
