Va., March 0.?The greatest mining horror in the New Rivet region occurred at Red Ash, about 8 o'clock this morning, by ?m explosion in the drift mine of the Red Ash Coal Com? pany. The mine was full of men and the ex? plosion occurred near the entrnnce, which was closed by falling slate. A relief cere?* was soon at work.
