HISTORICAL A N it c DOT a,--On a tablet hanging up in ihe) church of Allhallows Barking, Tower-ftreet, it is thus written« .. This church was much defaced and ruined by a lamentable blow cf twenty barrels of gunpowder, that took fire on the 4th of Jan- uary, 1649j in a ihip-chandlet'a houfe, over-againft the fouth fidè of thechurch, ana afterwards waa repaired and beautified again by ;*, voluntary contribution ok the pariihionera." The ship Frederick, which lay in the Cove, ran out of the river early yesterday morning, without a Port Clearance, aa will be seen by a Proclamation publifhed in the front of this Gazette.
