A large per centoge of the cattle receipts "were a train load of mixed Panhandle cattle. Among the rest were 130 head of veal calves for -which $5.50 per head was offered on this market but not accepted. '. Trading was fairly good throughout the day. The hog market opened active and strong at yesterday's closing price. Reports from eastern markets recorded an advance of 2 1-2 cents and after dinner prices on this market advanced to $3.55 for light and mediums and $3.45 to $3.47 1-2 for heavies. Market closed firm.
