The Democratic State Con vention, in accordance with the ci.ll of the State Central Com mittee, assembled at the Opera House, in Coin minis, on "Wednesday, June 1, 1S70. The delegations wire nearly all full, but thcri were in.t so many "outside delegates'' ns at some proceeding Conventions. Vin ton countv, entitled to four delegates, waa represented by three delegates, viz : Hon. Almond Soulc, Henry Iiey nolil, and J. W. Bowen Patrick Kelly not being in attendance. The Opera House is an excellent place for hold inf State Conventions being both cool and roomy.
