They formerly belonged to tho,Cliurch, and under the recent law "na tionalizing dead property," were confisca ted to the Stato; and biicli Maximilian found than, and designated them as lands where on the Confederate cxilea might Celtic. The Bishop is now in his 76th year, having been married in 1S10, and both he and Mrs. Hopkins are in the mot robiut and excellent health.
