From California. CINCINNATI, Oct. 10. Tha San Fmnciseo. Timet of the 1 4th say: In accordance with the anticipation of most of tha community, the tected duel between David C. Broderick, (J. S. Senator from California and the Hon. Da vid S. Terry, Judge of the Supreme Court, took place yesterday morniog at a small dell or valley some ten miles distant from Mercer Lake.-- -- - - The parties' went out of town the night previous and passed the night in separate localities. 7 At a quarter past 6 o'clock Messrs Broderick and Terry arrived on the ground in their respective carriages and at tended by their seconds and physicians. ' Hon. J. C. McXibben and M'r. Coulter as seconds for Mr. Broderick, and Calhoun Benham and Tuos Hays, Esqrs seconds for Judge Tarry.
