The performance was much appreciat ed by a large. number of music-lovers. Ideal weather conditions prevailed. The programme, which was excel lently rendered, ? included a selection from ' Pirates of Penzance,' a march ' Tasma,' a waltz ' Earacoa,' and marches ' Punchinello' and ' Machine Gun Guards.' This is the first occasion for some months that the band has appeared at the rotuada owing €5 inclement wea ther. ?''.
