Farmer's Leg Broken. Mr. F. Carter, farmer, of Yanpeef, met with an nnforiunato accident on Wednesday afternoon, a couple of miles fioiu Ilopetoun. lie was taking delivery of about half ;i ton of chaff on a cart from Mr. II. G. Casey's farm. He was perched on top of the load when the horse turned somewhat suddenly ar<mnd a corner, throwing him off his balance to the ground, when the wheel went over his I«ffc ankle. Ha was bronght, in to Dr. Gre?:*, who finm 1 the limb badly broken. A remark able coincident is that Mr. Carter Jiad the same ankle broken about 10 years ayo at Beulah, through boiiiif inn over by a waggon on which there was a load of ISO posts, fo it will bo readily agreed that Mr. Carter has had more than his share •of bad lnck in the way of accidents. He was taken to the Warracknabeal Hospital yesterday.
