St. Ignatius' Convent. 9 The additions recently effected to St. Ignatius ? Convent, leave that building an easy first in 9 the architectural ornaments of this town. 9 The Sisters have now a building which is a ? credit to themselves and to Wellington, and 9 the additional room will leave them free to ? carry on and enlarge the good work in which fl they are engaged, in all its ramifications. 9 'Some time back it was found that the 9 Convent was daily growing too small) and H it was wisely decided to add a wing to the | old building. Plans were drawn out by the I architect, Mr. Lamrock of Orange, and the 1 contract was entrusted to Mr, James Connor 1 of this town. 1 - That the work has been well and faithfnlly gj carried out was apparent almost at a glance i to your representative/ during an inspection 1 which he made of the place last weski The workmanship appears to be of the j highest class throughout, and is of a solid j and substantial character. A good team waB collected, and more than a match for Santop men, who were beaten by 41 points to 8. Both Kearie and Smith were at their posts, and their services were invaluable, bb the result proved. ?
