TUESDAT, FEBRUARiW3, Cm!. The lki?de (immi-rant ship), after a fas-'?ge of 75 days, brings London news to the 14th Norember, ten days later t~a, our previous dates. HIer Majesty and the Royal Family were enjoying excellent health at the otd castle cf Windsor. Kos-uth was the "Lion" of the day. lie was addressed, honoured, and feted wherever he went, in the metropolis as well as the principal towns. Koesunth made his pnublic entry into the City of London on Thursday, the 4th.0ov., to receive the address of the Ceorporation voted on the 2nd October. It was proposed that the illustrious 1agyar should reach Gnildhall by noon, that being the hour appointed for the assembling of the Court of Common Council, but so dense was the crowd, par ticularly at Charing-Cross, and the many interruptions his carriage underwent in the anxiety to pay him respect, that it was one o'clock before he arrived. AMERICAN .NEWS. TaE arrival of the British and American Royal Mail steam-ship Niagara, Captain Leitch, places us in possession of intelli gence several days later from America than has been heretofore received in this country. The Niagara sailed from New York direct on the 24th ultimo, and brings over silty passengers and 500,000 dollars in specie. The railroad celebration at Boston had passed off with great eclat. Amongst the distinguished visitors present were Lord Elgin and President Fillimore. Ten members of the Canadian Legisla tore were also present From Harancah the dates are to the 17th of September. One hundred and thirty-eight American prisners had been sent to Spain. Statements giving details of the late expedition had been published by the five prisoners who had been liberated and returned.
