"BACK TO LIVERPOOL" CELEBRATIONS At Sunday morning's meeting of the "Back to liverpool" Committee it was decided to transfer the Trotting meet- ing on the Showground set down for Saturday, 25th January next to Mon- day 27th. This was considered advis- able because of the fact that since the date was first decided upon the N.S.W. Trotting Club had decided to hold a Harold Park meeting on the Saturday. The change-over means that the big Athletic Carnival is now to be held on Saturday 25th January. A conference between the Liverpool Agricultural and Horticultural Society Committee and the "Back to Liverpool" Committee, at which representatives of the N.S.W. Athletic League and the N.S.W. Cyclists' Union were present, decided on the improvements necessary for the athletic and cycling events to be held on the Showground.
