Wildash, of Cuming Downs j was summoned by James Morgan, sheep , and cattle inspector for this district, with < having diseased sheep on his run,^bicb had crossed the border from Nevr^South Wales, without due notice- having been given.to the inspeefcor; the station was placed in quarantine. The case seemed ' to create considerable interest. Mr. B. G. Fuller-appeared lor the defendant, and Sir. Morgan conducted his own case. Charles Baker, being-sworn, stated that he was groom at Canning Downs. Mr. Morgan asked'him on the racecourse last week if he had seen any sheep that had arrived on the station; he replied that he bad heard of some nuns.
