Walpeup. [Newspaper Article] — Ouyen Mail and Central Mallee Advertiser — 3 July 1914

Walpeup             From our Correspondent. A hall built in a day is, what we sometimes read of ,but here- at Walpeup we have started to build a new parish hall, which will be completed by Friday next, 10th inst., and opened that night with a grand concert and ball A first class programme will be put on   and will commence at 8 o'clock and finish not later than 10.15 (no interval). Dancers are assured of a real good time, as the floor will be one of the best and the music first-class. This movement on the part of the Church of England people to supply Walpeup with a hall suitable for its present require- ments and one which will enable those interested in the hall to make an effort to raise money sufficient to build a hall will be in keeping with the probable requirements of Walpeup at no very distant date is worthy of the support of every person in the district The building is being erected o...
