CARDINAL MOHAN IN DUBLIN London, Oct. 2. j Cardinal Moran in addressing a meet ing in Dublin Cathedral has declared that Australia is the brightest gem in the British Crown, and no church In Christen dom is more attached to the Papacy than the Roman Catholic Church of those colonies. He also asserted that there was a strong desire on the part of Irishmen in Australia to help Ireland as far as pos sible to assert her rights.

Dr Kennion, Bishop of Adelaide, in the course of an address delivered before the Church Congress at Manchester, apropos of Colonial Missions, deplored the spiri tual competition which often took place with nonconformist bodies ia their efforts on behalf of Christianity.
