A. McArthur and Co. Wheat: I he local business transpiring is trivial, very little milling grain coining on to tho open market for disposal. Jn several instances tho millers report having secured fuir sized linos on the bayis of '2a 7d for prime mill ing ; bo far as our own sales are concerned, 'in 8d may more properly he quoted as the present market value of prime milling samples. There is still fair inquiry for export, hut local prices are a trifle high to admit of any considerable business being done. New Zealand reports to hand this week give indications of a very heavy surplus of wheat for^export. We are just in receipt of some forward samples of Adelaide seed wheat, including some very super ior purple straw and white Llamas of guaranteed pure strains. These are being sent over at the desire of some of our New South Wales growers, who desire a change of seed, and specially favour Adelaide strains.
