Herron Foster, Esq., who is known to be a thorough Whig in principle, lets slip at its "neighbor of the Telegraph'' in this fashion: . t:We are no special friend of Gov. Shunk,hut we think our neighbor ot the "Telegraph" is piling up the official salaries rather high, in starting that he received over seventy thousand dollars for services rendered the "dear people" whom our politicians ana so anxious to serve. Michigan S5,62j and 6,94; Genesee 86,06 ind.6.12J. The sales add np 10,000 to 12,000 bbls, mostly for shipment Fair brands Michigan bring $5.87$, and to arrive next week a sale of IQQObbls was made at 85,94. The receipts are very large, and 40,000 bbls were afloat this morning. Of this a considerable proportion wiUngo abroad on owner's account. The market for Southern is dull, and a sale of 300 bbls Baltimore was made to arrive at S5i,56i. On the spot, 500 bbls Richmond and Georgetown sold at S6. ' Meal is in fair request at S3 for Western, and 3,50 for Jersey.
