L'urdis, charged with stealing a carpet bag and cloak from a buggy, at tlie house of Wm. Stiimm, on the National Itond, some months ago. Charles Devlin, charged with picking the pocket of a Mr. Brown, < n the steamer Courier, was arraigned, but upon his mak ing oatli thai a material witness was ab sent, his case was continued until next term. George Stevens nud Xathaniel Scott, charged with stealing clothing from the }U-Lure Iionse, were arraigned. Scott j plead not guilty, nmi the jury, after bear ing the evidence, returned a verdict accor dingly.
